Hey, Grunge Cantina family!
We’re getting excited for another epic night of music and community! On Saturday, November 2nd, we’re taking over Back Alley Bar & Grill in St. Thomas, Ontario, for the Family First Fundraiser, a night dedicated to supporting our lead singer’s sister as she faces life altering changes with the recent amputation of her leg. It’s not just a concert; it’s a chance to come together and make a real difference.
Here’s what you can look forward to: five bands, each bringing their own vibe and sound, all under one roof. Check out the lineup!
Video Vamp
Video Vamp is a band that channels the energy and raw power of classic rock with a modern twist. Influenced by legendary acts like Def Leppard, Van Halen, and Black Sabbath, they blend the melodic hooks and soaring vocals of the 70s with the grit and intensity of the 80s.
Treading Zero
Get ready to feel the intensity when Treading Zero takes the stage! Known for their powerful original tracks, these guys blend edgy vocals, thunderous bass, hard-hitting drums to their acoustic rock sound. Their unique sound draws from alternative rock and heavy metal, promising a set full of fresh, dark vibes that’ll leave you hooked.
Griffin James Band
Switching things up, Griffin James Band brings the heat with soulful rock ‘n’ roll. Their blend of bluesy guitar solos and easygoing rhythms is a treat for fans of classic rock and blues. Expect covers of timeless artists with a touch of funk and groove that’ll get everyone moving.
Sonic Sinners
When Sonic Sinners hit the stage, you know you’re in for classic rock greatness! With a set list of rock’s finest from the 80s to more recent classics , these guys deliver epic guitar solos, powerful vocals, and all the classic riffs you could want. Think GNR, Velvet Revolver and all the big hits that’ll have you singing along and feeling like you’re back in rock’s golden era.
Grunge Cantina
Finally, we’re closing out the night! Grunge Cantina is here to bring you the best of the 90s grunge scene, with a lineup of all your favorite covers. We’re talking Nirvana, Soundgarden, Alice in Chains, and Pearl Jam—delivered with all the grit and passion you’d expect. We’re here to make this a night to remember and can’t wait to bring our signature grunge covers to the stage for such an important cause.
